The rainy season was over about a week ago and Okinawa is now 100% in the summer. The bright colors of the flowers screen vividly against the blue sky and the blue-green surface of the ocean glances blindlingly in the sunlight. Yes, from now on until the time when typhoons start to come, we can enjoy Okinawa in its most beautiful colors of light.
Too bad it is also the time I am busiest. Even so I sometimes find myself doing nothing but just gazing at the ocean from my office window, fascinated by the subtle and varied shades of color woven by the sunlight and spread onto the surface of the sea.
I am determined to try scuba diving this year but there is a long time to go till my summer vacation comes. (I will be able to get my summer vacation during the time when it is already autumn on the mainland)
So I just enjoy imagining how it looks under the surface of the sea in this time of the year....
